Matthew 7:7-8

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

"For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

In earnest prayer, we, the prayer team of the First United Pentecostal Church of San Antonio, will bring your petitions to God.

The scripture above is written in red thus indicating Words of our Lord. Simply said, if we will take the time to seek Him, Jesus Christ, the giver of life will answer.

We urge you to submit your requests and watch "...it shall be opened up to you!"

We have found that:

* Prayer is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made.

* Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God.

* Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian.

* Prayer is the exercise of faith, hope and a privilege of touching the heart of Jesus Christ our Lord.

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you". James 4:8

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". Philippians 4:6-7
